| 28.02.2003 ngc3190, CCD-Camera2, 30min exposed, Harpoint observatory, 50cm RC, f=4m This group of galaxies - better known as "Hickson 44" - consists of the elliptical galaxy NGC 3193 in the upper left of the image, of the Sa spiral galaxy NGC 3190 in the image center followed from the barred spiral NGC 3187 to the upper right and the SBa spiral NGC 3185 in the lower right corner. The tidal forces between the first three galaxies mentioned above can be clearly seen on the disturbed disk of NGC 3190 and the "stretched" spiral arms of NGC3187, therefore also catalogued as S-galaxy. To the southeast (lower left) of the elliptical galaxy shines a week dwarf galaxy, which perhaps belongs to the "Hickson 44" Group like the other dwarf galaxy LEDA 86788 on the right border of the image.
