22.03.2003 m106, CCD-Camera2, 30min exposed, Harpoint observatory, 50cm RC, f=4m

This big barred spiral shows rich structured dark lanes in the inner region which is followed by extended spiral arms. In the northern area the arms aren't quite regular and seem to be tiltet against the disk. NGC 4248 in the upper right corner of the field shows some knots along a line typical to dwarf galaxies. The last catalogued galaxy in the field, UGC 7356, can be found on the lower left border which looks quite similar to a dwarf galaxy and is possibly bound to M106. Seeing was about 2.8".
